Program Manager
Master of Public Health, Colorado School of Public Health
Bachelor of Arts, Cultural Anthropology, Colorado State University
Chris Jones is a Program Manager with CPC Community Health. Chris attended Colorado State University where he completed his undergraduate work in Cultural Anthropology. While maintaining his role at CPC, Chris completed his Master of Public Health with a focus in Community and Behavioral Health at the Colorado School of Public Health Anschutz Medical Campus. Pairing Cultural Anthropology with a Master in Public Health has provided Chris with a strong drive to work directly with undeserved communities around his home state of Colorado. At CPC, his role entails a wide range of tasks from providing training and technical support for our Colorado Heart Healthy Solutions and CHARLAR programs to grant applications, software development, program evaluation, as well as program design and implementation.
Outside work Chris maintains a presence in the Colorado public health community through his role as Communications Director for the Colorado Society for Public Health Education and also volunteers time on the Colorado Public Health Mentoring Committee. When not wrapped up in Public Health work Chris enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, sailing, and listening to his vinyl collection with his golden retriever, Otis.
