Health behaviors are often linked with triggers or cues that put our behaviors or habits into motion. Road Maps for Change are handouts that include personal stories about common cues that trigger unhealthy behaviors, a map of the story, and ideas for next steps. The behavior maps, based on behavioral activation, are used as frameworks to help participants visualize how behaviors, emotions and thoughts are interrelated.
